Specialty Treatment
Dry Eye
Spa.
Las Vegas's premier destination for advanced dry eye diagnosis and treatment. Real relief — not just eye drops.
Dry eye is a disease.
It deserves real treatment.
Dry Eye Disease affects over 30 million Americans, yet most people are told to simply use artificial tears and live with the discomfort. At Trendsetter Eyewear, we take a different approach — identifying the root cause of your dry eye and treating it with the same advanced technology used by leading ophthalmologists and dry eye specialists nationwide.
Our dedicated Dry Eye Spa suite offers a calm, spa-like environment where in-office treatments are performed with precision and care. Many patients experience significant relief after just one session.
Do You Have Dry Eye?
Recognize
the Signs.
Dry eye disease presents differently in every patient. Some experience constant irritation; others have intermittent blurry vision or surprising amounts of tearing. If any of these symptoms sound familiar, a dry eye evaluation with Dr. Payne can determine whether you have the condition and how severe it is.

Our Treatments
Advanced Therapies
That Actually Work.
OptiPlus Radio Frequency
RF Thermal Therapy
Advanced radio frequency energy delivered precisely to the periorbital area to stimulate collagen production, improve meibomian gland function, and reduce eyelid inflammation. RF therapy provides deep, controlled heating that liquefies blocked gland secretions and restores healthy oil flow to the tear film.
Best For
Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), evaporative dry eye, eyelid laxity
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
OptiLight by Lumenis
FDA-approved light therapy that targets the abnormal blood vessels around the eyelids that contribute to inflammation and dry eye. IPL also reduces Demodex mites and improves meibomian gland function. A series of 4 treatments delivers lasting results.
Best For
Inflammatory dry eye, rosacea-related dry eye, Demodex blepharitis
NuLids
Automated Lid Hygiene System
A gentle, automated eyelid cleaning device that uses a soft rotating tip to remove biofilm, debris, and Demodex from the eyelid margins. NuLids treatments improve lid hygiene, stimulate meibomian gland secretion, and are a cornerstone of both in-office care and at-home maintenance.
Best For
Blepharitis, Demodex, meibomian gland dysfunction, lid hygiene maintenance
Rinsada
Eyelid Irrigation & Allergy Relief
A precision eyelid irrigation system that flushes the eyelid margins and lash line with a gentle pulsed saline solution, removing accumulated debris, biofilm, and inflammatory mediators. Rinsada is also an effective treatment for eye allergy relief, clearing allergens and irritants from the lid margins to reduce itching, redness, and allergic response.
Best For
Blepharitis, eye allergy relief, anterior lid disease, pre-treatment preparation
Vital Tears
Autologous Serum Eye Drops
Vital Tears are personalized eye drops derived from your own blood serum, containing natural growth factors, vitamins, and proteins that closely mimic the composition of healthy tears. They provide superior lubrication and healing for patients with severe dry eye who have not responded to conventional treatments.
Best For
Severe dry eye, neurotrophic keratitis, post-surgical dry eye, Sjögren's syndrome
Celluma Light Therapy
LED Photobiomodulation
NASA-developed LED light therapy that uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to reduce periocular inflammation, accelerate tissue healing, and improve cellular function in the meibomian glands. Celluma is a relaxing, painless treatment often combined with other dry eye therapies for enhanced results.
Best For
Inflammation, post-treatment recovery, adjunct dry eye therapy
Prescription Dry Eye Therapy
Restasis® / Xiidra® / Cequa®
Prescription anti-inflammatory eye drops that address the underlying immune response driving chronic dry eye disease. Dr. Payne will determine which medication is right for your specific condition and severity.
Best For
Chronic dry eye disease, aqueous-deficient dry eye
Microbiome Testing & Treatment
Gut Health Optimization for Dry Eye
Emerging research reveals a powerful connection between gut microbiome health and ocular surface inflammation. We partner with Tiny Health to provide at-home microbiome testing that identifies imbalances in your gut flora contributing to chronic dry eye. Based on your results, Dr. Payne creates a personalized protocol — including targeted probiotics, dietary guidance, and anti-inflammatory support — to address dry eye from the inside out.
Best For
Chronic inflammatory dry eye, patients who have not responded to conventional treatments, systemic inflammatory conditions
CO2Lift Pro Masks
Carboxy Therapy for the Periorbital Area
CO2Lift Pro is a professional-grade carboxy therapy mask that delivers a controlled release of carbon dioxide to the delicate skin around the eyes. This triggers a natural vasodilation response, increasing oxygen and nutrient delivery to the periorbital tissues, reducing puffiness and inflammation, and supporting meibomian gland health. A luxurious, non-invasive treatment that complements our dry eye therapies while delivering visible aesthetic benefits.
Best For
Periorbital inflammation, meibomian gland support, adjunct dry eye therapy, skin rejuvenation

Demodex
Blepharitis.
What Is Demodex?
Demodex are microscopic mites that naturally live on human skin, but when they overpopulate the eyelash follicles and meibomian glands, they cause a chronic inflammatory condition called Demodex blepharitis. It is estimated that Demodex is present in over 50% of the population — and in nearly 80% of patients over age 60.
How We Detect It
Dr. Payne performs a detailed slit-lamp examination of the eyelid margins and lashes, looking for the characteristic "collarette" deposits — cylindrical dandruff-like debris at the base of the lashes that is the hallmark sign of Demodex infestation. Meibomian gland imaging and tear film analysis help assess the downstream impact on dry eye.
How We Treat It
Treatment begins with in-office NuLids and Rinsada eyelid debridement to physically remove mites and biofilm from the lid margins. IPL therapy is highly effective at reducing Demodex populations through targeted light energy. We also prescribe Xdemvy (lotilaner ophthalmic solution 0.25%) — the first FDA-approved prescription treatment specifically for Demodex blepharitis — along with a personalized at-home lid hygiene regimen using tea tree oil-based cleansers.
